Half of South Africans leave dependents at risk by not having a will

The surviving spouse does not automatically inherit the whole of the deceased person's estate - According to a recent study, half of the South Africans who die each year do so without having any form of Will in place, thus leaving their dependants in a precarious financial situation by complicating the division of their assets.
